High Technology Computerized ECG & Spirometry
Developed and manufactured by our European Principals, these are the optimum solutions for diagnostic ECG and Spirometry tests for hospitals & private clinics. These tests are performed using existing Desktop Personal Computers (PC) & printers. Highly affordable and easily operated systems also come in fully mobile option using laptop/ notebook computers.
12-lead ECG with pre-trigger recording facility makes recording easier than before. Signals from 12 leads are recorded continuously and simultaneously. The system automatically records and stores, analyzes, averages, displays and prints the recorded ECG Data along with computerized interpretation and patient data. It allows different reports to be viewed on-screen and printed in many formats. Several ECGs can be superimposed (in different colours) on the same screen & printed for efficient comparison. An unlimited number of ECGs can be stored in database and can be copied to and from a floppy disc. The interpretation software is based on 25 years of research and has been judged as one of the best. It ranks among the best in the world for full morphology and rhythmic analysis. It provides extremely accurate interpretation statements. The ECG recorders have an integrated defibrillation protection. There is no problem in using standard vacuum electrode system. A 9-volt battery supplies power.
More Possibilities:
Reliability:
The quality management system
is certified for NEN-EN-ISO 9001 (1994) standards. The equipment is
certified by TUV, Nemco, FD A & FAA. The equipment is used in over 55
countries. Safety:
Innovative Fiber Optic
connection of the ECG hardware to the PC provides 100 % safety of the
patient by complete galvanic isolation of the patient from electrical
conditions within the PC. PC can be placed comfortably away, up to 15 m,
from the patient.
Monitoring: The system comes complete with 8-bit ISA-bus interface COM-ST card for PCs or COM-ST PCMCIA card for notebook computers. The software covers both resting and Stress-Test ECGs. Signals from 12 leads are recorded continuously and simultaneously. During the stress test, three or six user-selected leads are displayed on the screen. Other leads can be seen using Page Up / Page Down keys. A scroll-back function allows easy confirmation of ECG abnormalities without the need for paper. ST measurements: Averaged ECG complexes are regularly calculated and superimposed on a reference ECG complex, showing the ST changes in detail. ST measurements and ST slopes are displayed on a trend graph during the test. The ST measurement point is configurable (both absolute and relative). Trend Graphs: Heart rate, load and blood pressure trend graphs are available during the test, providing instant information regarding changes as they occur. Data storage: Test results are stored, enabling comparison of results when the returns. Print-outs: After the test has been completed, a pre-configured set of printing formats can be produced or, alternatively, evaluation of results can be made on-screen and a selection made before printing, thus saving time and resources. The results are printed on standard white paper, avoiding he cost of thermal paper. Real-time thermal printing during the test is available as an option. Report generation: All 12 ECG leads are stored on the hard disc. Several summary reports can be printed and the ST measurement location can be changed both during and after the test. By evaluating results on the monitor, a paperless stress test system can be created. Treadmills and ergometers: The software controls most treadmills and ergometers. Standard stress test protocols are provided but can also be programmed by the system. The software allows the programming and storage of several thousand different stress test protocols. Parameters like patient weight, current heart rate etc. make protocol programming flexible and easy. The protocol can be manually overridden during the test. Complete control: The software can control several
blood pressure devices. This, plus the possibility to enter comments during
the test, creates a full command center behind your keyboard.
Central and remote
monitoring:
An optional software package is
available to make remote and central monitoring up to 4 systems possible.
Computerized
interpretation: Complete computerized
interpretation along with real-time arrhythmia detection.
Windows based computerized Spirometry for lung function test. It is connected to the serial port of the PC and meets the recommendations of American Thoracic Society (ATS). Attractively & ergonomically designed Flow Sensor is based on the well-known Triple V technology and is easier to clean. Calibration is done straightforward but is more used as verification, as the unit does not really require calibration. The software can be integrated with the ECG System using Windows platform, to give same look and feel & share same patient database. Volume time and/or flow-volume graphs are displayed on the screen, allowing easy verification of maneuver and reproducibility of tests. A variety of measurements in FVC and SVC modes are calculated and compared to a selected reference table. Reference tables included in the software are ECCS, Knudson, Kory, Quanjer, Schoenberg and Zapletal. Additional reference tables can be added easily. Tags for bronchodilator and/or bronchoprovocation status are added to test results. Different tests in a session have different colours for easy evaluation. It also displays in Spirogram mode. Hard copy printouts can be produced on any colour printer. Since the data from every session is stored, later review and reprinting as well as inter-session comparison is always possible. Measurements: FVC, FEV0.5, FEV1, FEV3, FEV5,
FEF25, FEF50, FEF75, PEF, Back to Lifeline
